Choose a transfer or a day out before you book
A one-way Prague to Kutná Hora transfer gets your group to the destination entered in the calculator. It does not automatically include several hours of sightseeing, a vehicle waiting throughout the visit or a ride back to Prague. If you want a day out, agree those parts before paying.
Start by writing down the places your group actually wants to visit. A short visit focused on Sedlec is a different transport request from Sedlec followed by the historic centre and St Barbara’s Cathedral. Give the driver the named locations and your intended order rather than only the city name.
Europe Pickup provides a private vehicle and driver. Independent sightseeing, a privately hired guide and a guided visit inside an attraction are different services. Do not assume a guide, commentary or admission is included unless your booking explicitly says so.
Reserve the visit that has a fixed entry time
Sedlec’s official visitor information says ossuary capacity is limited and recommends reserving a dated entry time in advance; entry without a reservation is not guaranteed. Check availability with the attraction before fixing a tight transport schedule.
The time printed on the attraction ticket is the entry time, not your departure time from Prague. Leave a buffer between arriving at the agreed drop-off and entering: you may need to walk, find the entrance and gather the group. Road traffic makes a schedule with no buffer fragile.
Keep the ticket confirmation on your phone and give Europe Pickup the entry time when arranging pickup. A transfer reservation does not reserve a Sedlec ticket, and buying an attraction ticket does not book a driver.
Check Sedlec admission and timed entry →Plan Sedlec and the historic centre as separate stops
Tell us whether you want the first drop-off at Sedlec or in the historic centre. List any onward movement you want by car. A booking ending at one address should not be treated as an open-ended city shuttle.
For a practical outline, start with the reserved visit, allow time to move to the next area, then leave a flexible block for independent sightseeing and a meal. Decide where the return pickup will happen before everyone leaves the vehicle. This is a planning sequence, not a promise that every attraction will be open or fit your day.
For St Barbara’s Cathedral, check current visitor information and any exceptions directly with its operator. Religious services, events and opening arrangements can affect the visit. Avoid copying a summer timetable into a different travel date.
Check the cathedral operator’s visitor information →Set the return pickup and waiting arrangement
Choose whether the vehicle is waiting as part of an agreed itinerary or whether you need a separate return pickup. Enter or confirm the return date and time, the exact meeting point and the number of passengers. Review the complete arrangement in the quote before payment.
A useful pickup point is somewhere the group can find and the vehicle can legally reach. A church entrance or pedestrian street is not automatically a vehicle meeting point. Save the agreed location and a reachable contact number.
If the group wants longer at lunch or another attraction, contact Europe Pickup before the agreed departure. Extra waiting or a changed itinerary needs confirmation; it is not automatically included just because the trip uses a private car.
Count people and luggage together
For a day trip, mention any bags that will travel with you even if they stay in the vehicle during sightseeing. For a one-way trip with a hotel change, count all suitcases and cabin bags. Passenger capacity alone is not a guarantee that every luggage combination fits.
Include children in the passenger total and select the appropriate child-seat requests in the booking. Add a folded stroller or other bulky equipment to the luggage plan. If you are unsure about space, describe the dimensions before choosing the vehicle.
Read the family luggage and child-seat checklist →Check walking and access requirements separately
Sedlec currently warns that the ossuary is not wheelchair-accessible during reconstruction and that access involves stairs. Check the attraction’s latest access information for your date before buying tickets.
Explain mobility needs when arranging the vehicle as well. An accessible drop-off and an accessible attraction interior are separate questions. Do not assume a standard sedan or minivan can carry an occupied wheelchair; any special arrangement needs explicit confirmation.
Read current Sedlec access guidance →What to review in the final quote
- Exact Prague pickup address and travel date.
- First destination, additional stops and their order.
- Passenger total, bags and child-seat requests.
- Agreed sightseeing or waiting time.
- Return journey, pickup point and time if required.
- Full transport total and payment arrangement.
- Separate attraction tickets and any separately arranged guide.
Can I use the reverse link for a round trip?
The reverse link opens a new one-way Kutná Hora to Prague calculation. It is useful for a separate return journey, but it does not automatically attach a return to the outbound booking. Check that both directions are explicitly covered in your confirmations.
Ready to calculate the transport?
Use the calculator with Prague and Kutná Hora preselected, then replace the general city names with your exact pickup and destination. Add the date, group and luggage details. For several attraction stops or an unusual waiting arrangement, send the itinerary for confirmation before payment.
